The store also has a full-service pharmacy with a health and wellness team that provides flu shots, immunizations, supplies, auto-fill prescriptions, and prescription counseling and product recommendations – as well as complimentary services from in-store dietitians. Visitors to the new ShopRite will find the butcher, seafood, deli, bakery, produce, and floral departments, as well as free WiFi and charging stations. We’re spending time experimenting with what people want for prepared foods.” We’ll always carry toilet paper and canned goods, but we wanted to make it a fresh experience – an experience where people could come in and grab their entire dinner to go, without even having to go to the center store. “Every supermarket has the same departments, but we tried to enhance areas so they are the focal point of the store. “We have spent a great deal of time trying to learn from our other projects and trying to re-imagine what ‘fresh’ looks like,” Coe said.
